  1. an instrument shouldnt be worth 300??? lol wtf??

the first guitar u have there is a really S****y brand dont eve get it

and the 2nd one u have is nylon string classic

spend 300 on a good washburn guitar theyre good

  2. First thing, decide which sort of acoustic guitar you want... you have linked both steel and nylon string models. Choose a steel string model if you're planning to play rock, country, or blues, while a nylon string (replaces the old-fashioned "catgut" used years back) is more commonly used for classical or Spanish guitar.

"Cheap" is not really what you're after here... low cost, sure, but too cheap will be a problem. A cheap guitar will be less satisfying and quite possibly harder to play, and that can mean you play less, or eventually give in and stop. And that's the big thing to avoid... you should try to play as often as possible. Assuming you're just starting out, you probably won't be able to play everyday, but that should be an early goal.

There are cheap guitars, and not-so-cheap... you can spend $40 for a cheap Chinese acoustic, or well over $10,000 for a hand made custom model (my ex brother-in-law makes just such guitars). My main acoustic, a Martin D-15, lists for about $1250... but of course, you should NEVER pay list price for music gear.

Yamaha is a decent brand. You listed a classical model, here's a steel string version, also a bit cheaper:

Epiphone is another brand that's well known for making decent guitars at low prices:

Another one I'm liking lately is Takamine:

Certainly, there are many other companies making good low-cost guitars: Ibanez, Alvarez, Squier/Fender, etc.

When you're just starting out, the best thing you can do for the first month is borrow someone else's guitar, and play as often as possible. This will get you a bit familiar with the guitar, so you can make a more informed decision. Then, go to a guitar store and try some out... to an extent, it's a personal decision. Bring along an experienced player if you can, too, to help guide you away from bad models. Check out on-line reviews from other users, too.
