How much does an actress get paid in a broadway play?

I know it depends on the part...lets say ensemble. i'd just like to get the idea.

and what about for an off-broadway play?

The weekly minimum for an Equity actor is about $1500/week.  Of course, it depends on the play and the actor.

it really depends on the who the actress is and what they bargin for to get.... i read this one little girl i never heard of got like 1 million for a main part.idk if tht'll help

i think it is probably a by the show pay...

if you are just in the ensemble I would guess about $250 a show.

a lot of off Broadway shows, pay barely above minimum wage, it is more for the love of acting than money.

I do theater here in Baton Rouge, and we don't make anything. All of the proceeds from the show, go right back into the company for new props and scripts and so forth.
