  1. Around 12,000 pounds........

  2. check on you're log book it lists kurb weight and max weight

  3. if it's been converted it would have been converted to stay within the law, in that case it should not weigh more than 3.5t. if you want to b sure, take it to your local VOSA weighbridge, you can usually use the weighbridge for free as long as you dont require a weigh ticket.

  4. Check the vehicle registration card...The GVR (gross vehicle weight) should be shown there.

  5. American Chevy is four and a half tons and a 5.2litre petrol or 6.2 deisel engine, auto trans, hope this helps I used to drive them.

  6. The information should be in the hand book or on old documentation, or maybe even the log book, as they are weighed when they are new, but with all the kit on.

Alternatively you could go to a public weighbridge and get it weighed (google for your local area).

Yes it could be at least 3.5 ton. On older driving licences, if you passed your test before a certain date, you could drive up to 7.5 ton on the normal licence.

If you look at the following link and scroll down there are some examples of 3.5 ton vehicles so you have something to compare it to.
