How much does an electric guitar cost?

For a begginer, I want to see how much I can get for one. im a noob at these things, but is there a 200$ guitar, or are they more?

well you could get a real beginner guitar with a case/amp/cord/strap for about $100 bucks on most guitar sites. the starter sets are usually fender squires, sometimes bullets. bullets kind of suck though... but more expensive guitars can range all the way up to... well... more than you would guess. ive seen a few for say 25 grand. you just starting guitar yourself?

A nice starter guitar is the fender squire strat and you can usually get the amp a chord and bag along with the guitar for around $150! Good luck!
