How much does an industrial distillation unit cost?

These are the ones used in fuel companies that produce ethanol. I'm asking for the price of a small scale distillation unit that can produce ethanol with a grade of at least 95% .

Hi Kathy.  I just researched this a few days ago.  Expect to spend 600.00-1600.00 US$.  But that of course is only one expense.  Dont forget transportation, labor etc.  If using corn you have to crack or roll it.  A decent hammer mill is another 1600.00. Corn may make 2-3 gal/ bushel, at 95%. however the last consideration was what I would use the ethanol for.  To drink is illegal w/o jumping through lots of hoops, but it would bring the cost of a liter of 80 proof hootch to less than a dollar.  But tio use it in a E85 car sucks.  Check out the milage reports. its lilke 18 miles/gal on e85 flex fuel cars.
