  1. I use this;

    At my local Wal-Mart it costs me $1.27 and lasts for quite a while.

  2. you can buy a bag of pool salt about 8 bucks for 20kg enough to last for years.

  3. Local store normally about 5 bucks and that should last you for awhile like 1 year or more just depends on the size of the tank. But I have a 10 gallon with goldfish. I breed them and use them for food for my bigger fish . I dont even use salt so you might want to think about that.

  4. Go to Petsmart, it's in what looks like a little milk carton and it's named "Aquarium Salt" It's inexpensive $4.99  http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js...

    EDIT: A tiny bit of aquarium salt is good for freshwater fish for all of you who are telling him not to use salt...

  5. Goldfish are 'fresh water fish'.......not salt water fish.

  6. Free.  You don't use salt with goldfish.
