  1. driftwood cost alot my fish store it cost 3$$ per pound

a good way to hind that stuff is with long tall plants

  2. bog wood is cheap to buy but boil it first to stop it making the water go brown,

someone else on here said it should only be added to a mature tank.

  3. wood in a freshwater aquarium is a bad thing. non-beneficial bacteria like it.

hiding cables and filters is best done with a background taped to the outside of the tank on the back. many patterns are available.

inside the tank, use plants and rocks.

  4. no, i have plecos and they need to gnaw on the wood for health, bogwood is the type of wood they need and eat, its common and should be available in most pet stores, its real cheap, £5 for a large peice. I use tall plants to hide cables and filters.
