Its not final yet but we have to discuss our options but the fertility specialist has recommended this to us. Just wondering the cost and the amount of time it takes to start the process? I am healthy with no apparent problems.. the problem is with my fiance who does not have Vas deferens.

Thanks anyone who can answer =)

  1. Consultation = £150

    Return consultation = £100

    Pre screening tests = upto £300 each (get free from NHS first!)

    Intra uterine insemination = £650

    Monitoring ovulation = £450

    Drugs = £100

    these are all the things you would need.  This is the basic costs in Glasgow.

    Anything dealing with your eggs too eg ivf or icis runs at £3000-4000

    Good luck.  Im looking for a good fertility specialist myself - where abouts did you go?

  2. I don't know how much it is in Scotland, but in the US, it cost me $600 without the Clomid or the HCG.  I can't remember, but I think the Clomid cost me around $40. I don't remember how much the HCG was.
