  1. NO REALLY...after you get your adjustments is everything okay?... (mom and dad probably shouldn't have shared the information of the costs involved)...LOL!!!

  2. Orthodontists make around 100k+ a year.

NBA players make way more than that. Least made is about only under 2 million a year. If your good then you can expect more money. Adding to that also are the money made from endorsements (merchandise, commercials, shoes etc.)

An Orthodontist makes around 100k+ a year. It can vary though if you know a lot of people, and u have a good network.

Overall you will definitely make more money being in the NBA, but becoming an Orthodontist is easier because the job will have a high demand for Orthodontists to replace retiring Orthodontists. And with being in a profession in the medical field, especially dentistry, theres always going to be people that are going to need braces, people are going to have a tooth ache, etc.

A downfall to that is that it takes about 8+ years to become a orthodontist, but hey it'll be worth it. You make big money either way. You'll be making 100k+ a year, and it costs about 70k average to raise a family (maybe more now), but by then im expecting u would get a woman by then and u guys will have a combined income leaving more money for u to have.

Overall, you gotta work for both professions. The NBA would be harder to get into, but the money is there for sure. Becoming an Orthodontist dosent give you as much money compared to the NBA salary, but the money is still more than good to live in todays society. If your skills arent that hot in basketball, its risky business if you dont go through much schooling at all, and if teams dont want you then its just going to make things difficult for you. Unless you have Michael Jordanlike skills, then go to the NBA for sure and make that money haha.

  3. it depends on your role as an NBA player, if your good or not and your contract.League minimum is 400k. Benchwarmers get about 1-2 million. Role Players 4-5 million and stars can get anywhere  from 8-22 million. Orthoodontist, not so sure, but probably less than NBA players by a lot.

  4. an nba player makes 34589346865866 times more than an orthodontist

  5. I think league minimum is actually around 900K.  I remember Deshawn Stevenson signing with the Wizards for the minumum and it was about that much a year.  Average is 2-3 mil without endorsements.

Orthodontist make 6 figures, but way less that the lowest NBA player.

  6. The NBA player averages a little under 2 million a year.
