How much does beer cost in an Australian Pub?

Question

I rarely go to pubs or clubs, and am wondering how much a beer is these days in an RSL or similar.

Please tell me the price (and drink size) and which State.

pubs and RSL are similar prices pubs tend to have a lot more happy hours than RSL's so it depends, happy hours go for 3 to 4 hours and go for $2 schooners otherwise its $3.50 for schooners and $2.50 for middies in NSW.

In Melbourne

It ranges from AUD 3.50 to AUD 7.00.

In most of the local bars it will be AUD3.50

I used to work in a few bars in NSW and they all sold a schooner of beer for $3.90 and a middy for $3.10, that was for the regular beers, imports were atleast 30c extra. In the 2yrs I worked in bars the prices jumped 50c and they are still working there way up.
