  1. For automobile insurance the best way to get a great rate is do a rate comparison on car policies. Make certain that you compare similar policies with the same limits, car model, location, etc so that all things are an accurate comparison.

What I most often recommend is an internet comparison quote at http://www.InsureAutoNow.info since they have discount insurers and can give multiple prices on auto insurance polices.

  2. All knell to Ryan

  3. Auto insurance can vary by hundreds of dollars from one company to the next. The only way to know for sure is to request quotes.

You can either call some local agents or a better way would be to requests some quotes on line from some of the free on line quoting services.  By using them you only have to fill out a quote request for each service that you use and they will take your information and forward it to multiple companies and agents.

According to one site that use a lot to research answers the average person saves about 30% to 40% on line.

Also if you have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher most companies will give you a big discount. In addition to using the free on line quoting services I would suggest reading the following article: http://mysite.verizon.net/ressg6c7/siteb...

  4. see this http://gsx1.com/InsuranceComparison.html take the quote, they'll come back with prices from different insurers in your area. It's very quick and free of charge.

Yes, driver's ed does reduce your car insurance but to find a cheap price you might have to get several quotes, do some legwork till something cheap will come along.

  5. adding my 16 year old daughter to my policy added about $900/year (comp, collision & liab) with 2 vehicles.

adding another car '01 (To be determined) will add an additional $1500/year.

so her cost will be about $200/month
