  1. i'll do it for you for free :p

  2. It cost at least 50 pounds.

  3. Hi, it depends how much hair you've got and how large the area is. The therapist could give you an estimated price when she see's you. Generally  starts around £20 - 30. I won't lie, of course it hurts you're having your hairs ripped out!

  4. I'm not going to lie, yes, it hurts, especially the first time you get waxed.  However, the pain is fleeting and the results are very  worthwhile.  With subsequent waxing treatments the pain is less, partly for psychological reasons in that you know what to expect but partly because it really does hurt less as the hair follicles and roots become weaker with repeated waxing.  If you're concerned about the pain, take a dose of ibuprofen about 45 minutes before waxing.  Yes, you'll live to tell the tale - there wouldn't be increasing numbers of guys going in for waxing if it was so bad.

By the way, don't even consider waxing yourself.  That's the way to mediocre results and maximum pain plus ingrown hairs when the hair starts to regrow.

A good professional waxing should last about one to two weeks before any hair begins to re-grow and another week or two before anything is visible form any distance.  A good duration between waxing treatments is about six weeks.

Regarding cost, I'm lucky because I go to an excellent place in Edgware called LA Beauty (020 8952 5382) which is also cheap.  They only charge £15 for a chest and abdomen wax and the same again for back and shoulders.  (On the off chance that you happen to be in this area, be quick because they are shortly moving to bigger premises down the road and I guess they'll probably put up their prices then.)  I suppose the normal going rate in London is probably nearer £20 - 25 and the swanky places might charge £40 or more.
