How much does energy does a 130cm Plasma use? compared to a light bulb in 1hour?

so if i turn my plasma on for 1hour. how long can a light bulb stay on for, wif the same energy?

I dunno what model you have but the Samsung TV I'm looking at uses 550W. A 100W light bulb uses... 100W. That means the TV uses 5.5 times as much power as the light bulb. Therefore you could power the light bulb for 5 hours and 30 minutes with the same amount of power the tv uses in one hour.

If you're talking about a TV, look at the manual.  But also look at its power consumption in standby mode.  It's drawing power all of the time.  And if you're comparing modern technology, compare it with a modern compact fluorescent bulb.  One producing light comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb draws around 20W.
