They don't dropp at all. Dealers only get X amount of bikes, which they have no trouble selling. Joe Blow is the local idiot, he knows absolutly nothing, but he always gives people a good laugh with his stupidity.

Thinking you're going to find a bargain on a new HD cause you think HD is desperate to sell at a reduced price?

WRONG!

HD is paying interest for their inventory of bikes nobody wants, so just for them to break even they have to increase the price!

so what they will do is send the remainder of the inventory back to the factory and all they have to do is add a part that costs less than a dollar and they can legally re-stamp the frame vin number and resell it as a new 2009 model

note: I know some HD owners are going to say i'm full of it, but I know i'm right, I know how that business works!

not too much, it all depends on the inventory and floor space.  those are some incentives to move them or not.

They don't around here. A new one takes the place of one that was sold off the floor.

Re-stamp a VIN? I thought I had heard most of the good ones already. Even the factory will not alter a VIN.
