  1. it only costs as much as the curriculum.  if you could get free curriculum you could get education for free!

  2. It can cost next to nothing, or close to $1000.00 per year.

    It depends on what program, books, or materials you choose to use.

    There are many used books available;

    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/1001books/ if you use the library, and the Internet extensively you can substantially cut your out of pocket cost.

    The cost of home schooling is no different from one state to the next, it is whatever you want to invest in it.

    You can also check out The Book Samaritan; they provide curriculum's to families who are in need for free.

    A good home school web site with plenty of information to get you started is:

    Do not forget to check you states requirements;

  3. Same as it costs everywhere else.

    What ever the materials fees are.

    Depends on the system.

    Books from Sams Club, Borders, Barnes and Noble, Penn Foster, ABeka, etc.

    I hear the range varies from $100-$1500 a year depending on the system used.

    You can probably buy used courses off E-bay or through home school coops.
