  1. It's hard to give you a certain amount because every person is different and every situation is different.  You are young and you just got your license so your rates are automatically going to be higher. It's good that you are driving an older car though. I would try and see what you can do to get you on your parent's policy because that will save you anywhere from $50-$100 a month. Also, if you are a student with a B average or better, most insurance companies will give you a discount.

The best thing you can do if you cannot be on your parent's policy is to do your research and shop around.  I would recommend comparing atleast 3-5 quotes from different insurance companies to see who offers you the cheapest rate. The site below is a really great resource because it allows you to compare quotes for all of the insurance companies in your area for free.

    Good Luck! Hope this Helps!

  2. well you have the first part completed . . . you know what type of car will be insured for what age of driver . . . but like everyone else has stated we can not quote you for a policy because EVERY policy changes per insurance holder BUT i will not leave you empty handed . . . http://www.COMPAREusINSURANCE.com is a great website to find the cheapest rates in your area by simply entering a zip code, there are probably other sites but i dont really know of them.

  3. This is going to be expensive since you are a young driver, but the type of car will help lower the rates.  The best way to find the lowest price, or to get an idea of how much it will cost is to get an online insurance quote.  This will compare all companies in California and find the company that will offer you the lowest prices.

You can get a free online quote at http://www.auto-insurance-knowledge.com/...

  4. mate theyll charge you the max but believe me down the road is when you save and dont drive uninsured i did and im paying of 20-000 i was just out to ''damd'' it also depends on how much u want to insure for you will get to 60percent no claims i hope that will bring it rite down year by year it gets better insure for 5000 ull prob pay 600-700

  5. There are so many questions that an insurer will ask you when applying for insurance that it is not really possible to quote a price from the information given.

My advice would be to approach an insurance broker who deals with lots of different insurance companies, as they will have an idea which company will offer the best rates for people with your circumstances. Having said that, insurance is one of those things where you need claim free driving experience for it to be cheap, but you need the insurance to get that driving experience, so you will have to pay quite a bit for your first few years.

  6. usually more than the car they can afford unless they have rich parents.

  7. Hi, Unfortunately that is not a universal answer. Though you have the right idea going with a 4 cylinder but Hondas are a little higher than most cars simply because they are the most stolen car in Cali. Since it is a 1990 I am assuming or would suggest going with the liability. Unless, of course you are paying payments on it.

Were about the mid price for someone your age. I would check Allstate or Wawanesa for lower prices without having to go with a fly by night company. Be prepared to pay around the 120.00 a month area.

    Hope that helps some!!!
