  1. Check www.geico.com for insurance that is where my guy got his and I think it depends upon your age and number of years you have been driving his is around $200 a year.

Check DMV I think you have to be 18 to get a motorcycle license now.

  2. Shop around for motorcycle insurance for sure.  When i was looking for motorcycle insurance on my latest bike i had quotes from $100-$800 a month.  (1000cc sportsbikes)

my other bikes my ninja 250 i payed 400 a year.

my 1973 honda cb 350 i pay $60 a year for full coverage.

just be sure to shop around

  3. I've gone through the same thing -- still a bit painful, here is the resource help me a lot.http://insurance.free-onlinetip.info/ins...

  4. I am 49 years old, my motorycle is a 1985 Yamaha Virago 700, I live in Los Angeles California, and my motorcycle is parked in a garage not visible from the street.

I have minimum legal liability from Progressive, which is $75/year, insured as "pleasure/school/commute."

I have all the discounts except the one for taking the motorcycle safety foundation course.

Advice:  take the motorcycle safety foundation course.  Over a lifetime, the insurance savings will be hundreds of dollars.

  5. Basic insurance for my Gold Wing is $125.00 /year in Wisconsin. Your state of residence and motorcycle, your age and driving record may vary- cost will also vary depending on other insurance from same company- I have van and car also with same company and motorcycle got a little multi vehicle break.

  6. From $50.00 a month to $500.00 a month.

  7. It varies from state to state...and also depends on what type of coverage...full or just liability...how long you have been riding...and if you taken a motorcycle driving course. I have found that Progressive is the cheapest.
