How much does is it to fence in the perimeter of an average home in South Africa with razor or electric wire?

I'm curious as to how economical it is to erect fencing in South Africa. I'm interested in the different options, so please give me lots of information.

Sounds like a great place to live. What happens when you leave your 'high security' zone? Do you need armed escorts and bullet-proof cars as well?

It does not matter how little or much your fence or electric fence cost, a rubber mat and a pair of wire cutters is all it takes to get through it!

The repair cost is often substantially higher than let say painting over the blood spot on that brick wall were you nailed the burglar's *** with bird shot!
