it depends..if you go to an airlines website, you can fill out the info for your flight dates and everything to see how much they will cost. for example, aa.com is the american airlines site

also, it depends on where you stay..which hotel of bed and breakfasts (b&bs would be cheaper)

and then whatever else you buy in london like food or shopping stuff..keep in mind that one british pound is like two dollars so stuff there is more expensive..example if something costs £10 then it's like $20

A lot!  It's one of the most expensive cities in the world.  If you're going from the US, count on $800-$1200 for airfare, and bring at least $200 per day to cover an inexpensive shared hotel room and sightseeing.  The dollar is very very weak against the pound ($2.00 = 1 pound) which doesn't help in this expensive city.  But it IS one of the best places to visit in the world.
