Isn`t Air Transat in financial trouble? I read a while back in www.airportbusiness.com that they were in the brink of filing for bankruptcy. I think you will be better off trying to fly for zoom air, or flyglobespan. Air Transat I think is an all business class airline, very good service but can`t compete with the others I mentioned. Good luck anyway, I hope I am wrong because they are an excellent airline.

i have about 40 grand tied up in my licenses.

private will run about $8 to $10 thousand, then start adding night, instrument, commercial and ATP and you can get to 70 grand real fast.

I am currently working on a bachelors degree as well as flight training at a college that offers aviation classes. by the time it is all said and done I will owe around $60,000 in student loans but that covers the flight school and the 4- year degree.

you need to get private pilot license, instrument rating, commercial license, multi engine rating, and certified flight instructor license,

once you get your flight instructor license then someone will be paying you to fly. and you can get the rest of the experience you need for the airlines for free.

If you are fresh out of high school you could be working for an airline within 6 years if you play your cards right.
