About £2500 - £3000

Don't go to Red - they are part of the Instructor College, they have an appalling reputation, i nearly trained with them but realised they were just pushy, expensive and only interested in your money.

Thats RED - don't go there!

PS to Charlie above's answer - You only have to wait untill the end of the 2 year period to start again, not a further 2 whole years!

You are looking anywhere from 2 - 3 and a half  thousand pounds for the training + test fees (depending on the structure) If you pass the part 1 & 2 tests then want to go on a trainee licence for 6 months then that is another £125. You have to complete and pass all three parts within a two year period. You get three attempts at the part 2 and 3 tests - if you fail on your third attempt then you have to wait until the end of a 2 year period before you can start again.
