If you go for Mc Donalds you not only pay dearly but you won't be happy - cause it's just not the same....

Depends what meals, for lunch, get a subway, about £4.00 or if you dont mind junk, mcdonalds meal, about the same price.  Evening meal, depending where you go anything from about £15.00 upwards for a main course.  Drinks would then be extra.

I am assuming that you are American.  Compared to the US, London is very expensive.  Figure with the excange rate, it is almost double what you would pay in the US.  For example, a burger, fries and two beers at a local pub in London will probably run you about $40-$45 USD.  Enjoy and use your debit/credit card on all purchases to be sure to get the best possible exchange rate.
