  1. Everyone always talks about how expensive cheesecake factory is.... but I just don't see it!

It is definitely not CHEAP... but it is no more expensive than any other decent chain restaurant... it's about the same prices as any chain steakhouse or Italian restaurant (ie. Lone Star, Olive Garden, Tony Romas, Outback, Macaroni Grill etc.)

Last time my husband and I went there, we got an appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 drinks (sodas - not alcohol) and desserts and it was maybe $50 or $60... including tip...

  2. I would agree with about $80-$100 if you are some good eaters. It costed me about $40 dollars for a personal pizza, salad, grilled cheese sandwhiches w/ fries and two cheesecakes( all of these was for two people but reallly could have fed 3 people, because we couldnt finish all the food)

  3. Of course it depends on what entree, drink and dessert you order, but you may as well expect  to leave with a bill at least $100 and probably closer to $175-$200. The portions of the entrees are larger than most restaurants, so you should have some leftovers unless everybody is a big eater....or very hungry.

  4. It depends on what you get.  The cool thing is, you can get whatever you want there and they won't hound you to buy an entree. I usually get the calamari or the mini burgers from the appetizers, and save room for dessert.

If you're planning on going for entrees, drinks, and dessert (which you MUST get if you go - their cheesecake selection is to die for), expect the entree to be about $15 to $20 per person, drinks to be about $8 (if alcoholic), and dessert to be about $7 to $9 for a piece of cheesecake (I believe - it's been a few months, there's not one where I live).

For four people... I'd say about $180 max.  You could do it for $120 though, I bet.  But that's me giving a generous tip. :)

  5. Usually at least 25-30 per person depending on what you order. If you go in just for an appetizer & dessert you could spend under 25 if you have a soda instead of alcohol.

  6. Worked there for five years, so I know.

I would budget about $25 per person if you're not having alcoholic drinks.  Entrees are 10-20, desserts are 6-8, appetizers are good to split.

Entrees are HUGE.  You'll bring leftovers home.

Dont' know what to get?  CHICKEN MADEIRA.  awesome entree.

For appetizer, get APPETIZER FAVORITES--it's a four plate sampler.  Awesome!

Order to drink the STRAWBERRY LEMONADE YUM. or a soda.

For dessert get CARROT CAKE it's off the hizzle, fuh weal.

  7. it is a great idea, but i would figure in the 100 because lets say you get a cheap entree, for like 12 or so each, then drinks are like almost 5, i would consider 25 for each person, just to be on the safe side, because deseret is like 8-9 and you have to have one they are the best, your mom would totaly enjoy it. however their portions are huge, so if you guys split plates it should be ok. hope your mom loves it.

  8. Uh, been there, repulsive $$$$$$$$  Go find a quaint local place, better food, trust this  one....

  9. $100  for food & drinks and  $50 for alcohol

    for all four.

  10. depends what you guys get...but if you get an appetizer, an entree, drinks, and dessert, you might look to drop about $100
