well at petco it was about $49.99 but i got mine on sale it was only $20

20 gallon long at PetSmart about 55$

lighting 20$

Pet 30$-200$

Substrate free (paper towels)-30$

Other "Stuff" 5$-20$

"Food" 1$-10$ a weekly

So you will be spending probably between 150$-350$

I own a Leopard Gecko but I had a "tank" already

its more of an expense for the appropriate lighting and heating. most uv lamps run 30 dollars,  fixtures 10-20, heat bulbs can be bought cheap from hardware stores 5-10 dollars, and fixures 10-15. 20 gallon tanks run usually 20-40 dollars. i have never seen one over 75.
