Well i swim for the ymca and i know for a winter membership i think it is 198

Being you are a woman why not check out the YWCA.  As for cost, ... It isn't as high as a health club, and there is more sense of community there... I like the Ys....

I would suggest you do what I did.  Get a part time job at the Y, I work about 10 hours a week and get a free membership out of it.  they always seem to be hiring for something, and i'm sure you could find something you would enjoy doing.

I took a part time job as a way to make a few extra bucks, but now I could care less about the money, its a fun job and I get to work out while I work and get paid to do it.
