I just priced a 4 ton heat pump system at work and they ranged from 3750.00 to 4800.00 installed.

Short answer: Plenty.It depends on the size of your house what you are putting in and how much you are prepared to spend.that is are you going top of the line? Best to get at least three estimates Talk to the contractor and ask what they intend to do how long it will take what it will cost. Get it in writing and then compare with the other written estimates.Also check with Better Business Bureau before signing any contract. If possible get personal recommendations from friends. Remember the cheapest doesn't necessarily mean the best. IF someone is way cheaper I would pass them by because it means either they really are skimping or don't know what the heck they are doing.
