How much does it cost for a cab from jammu to dalhousie ?

I'll land at Jammu or Amritsar and will hire a cab for dalhousie one way. How much does it cost ?

Around 6 thousand INR including the taxes and tolls on roads and the driver charges and his fool allowance ! Also depends on the stopovers

In both the case (either Amritsar or Jammu) you have to come to Pathankot, I personally recommend Amritsar (as you have a chance to see Golden Temple and Wagah Border before proceeding to Dalhousie) and it is somewhat safer than coming from Jammu (for Jammu flights you are not allowed a hand baggage,so you can imagine how tight security is there). It is almost 200 kms, so depends upon type of cab you will take. I feel even if you go for a INNOVA it should not be more than Rs. 3000 (and the toll is only Rs. 30, when you enter HP) the most of way (approx. 165 kms is plain, only 35 kms is uphill, so better be prepared)

It almost takes 4 hours from Amritsar to Dalhousie.
