  1. It depends upon WHO you call.  I know that Cargill hauls out of state (I'm in California) and http://www.bobhubbardhorsetrans.com/ I've known both of these carriers and they are reliable.

You may try and find somebody hauling back east to a show or something as well and see if your horse can "hitch" a ride as well.

I've got a couple of mares going to IA in a few months, but not sure when you want to haul out.

  2. I was going to buy a filly in New York and i live in California they were going to charge me 1200 to move the kiddo, this was a quote a few months ago but with gas going up its probably about 1500 to move one now.

Bob Hubbard can get out of a driveway, dude has issues i dont use them.

  3. My horse is in the process of getting shipped, he'll be here tomorrow yay!, from Georgia to Utah and it cost me about $1,600. I used Nationwide and they've been great. I would just look up some companies and ask for a quote. here's some of the ones I looked at...

    Good luck

  4. Only one way to get 100% correct prices is to look up shippers yourself!!! How else are you really going to know?? Then all shippers have different prices. I got quotes from OR to CA 400.00$ to 1500.00$. So YOU need to call.

    ****edit*****

Bob Hubbard quoted me a  very high price.
