  1. If you don't get alcoholic drinks then maybe, if you get soda's then it might go over. My recommendation is to either share one of the large platters between the 2 of you and have a few drinks or buy 2 platters  and no drinks and you should make it in under $50 including tip.

    Good Luck!

  2. Going out on valentines day can be a bad idea.

    Be prepared to wait....

You can get fried shrimp at my local for 13.99 or even 11.99.  Alcoholic drinks are anywhere from 4-8 dollars depending on what you want.

If 50 dollars is your limit you need to have a check/bill of about 40 dollars to have money left to tip your server.

Depending on where in NY the prices will be different.  Have a romantic dinner at home, find a great recipe for shrimp, get a nice bottle of wine... and save yourself some money!

  3. Yes they should be having some specials too on Valentines Day. My Dad and wife eat there on less than $50 for the two of them.

  4. Well I live in Ohio so I'm sure it's a lot more expensive in NY but anywho that should be enough money..you could probably get 2 meals and 2 drinks..maybe 2 glasses of wine or something for about $40-45 dollars depending on how much you want to leave for a tip..I would drink water if I were you just to make doubly sure you have enough... Or to save some extra money..make him a romantic candlelit dinner at home..you could even make him seafood if that's what you want to do...would be cheaper and more personal and romantic...!! Hope you have a good Valentine's Day..!!!
