How much does it cost from airport to downtown Paris?

I will be taking a cab from airport to Eiffle Tower hotel... what is the normal rate?

Not only taxis are extremely expensive, but traffic is terrible.

If you really want to be droppped off at the final destination in Paris, then go for the shuttle, much cheaper at it is I believe 15 euros.

Or the Train, RER B is the fastest and cheapest, 30mn on the express to be downtown Paris form CDG and it cost about 8 euros... the RER B, local or express, does all the stops in Paris, the express is just not stopping everywhere on its way to Paris...

If you are going to the Gare Montparnasse (train station) or around, Air France has buses for 12 euros one way leaving from the airport and taking passengers to this train station.

From CDG airport is a bus, every 15 minutes (8.50 euros/ticket) and it goes to Opera Garnier. From here you can take a taxi and it will be more cheaper.

It will be 55-60 euros.

Its really a lot cheaper to take the RER B commuter train into the city.
