how much does it cost to text northern ireland - ie belfast from scotland?

Is it just the same rate as its part of the uk?? or is it any more expensive.

It depends on your provider so you really need to check with them.  I went to Southern Ireland last year and was charged loads, and I was also charged to receive texts and calls.  I know it wasn't Northern Ireland, but you may find you get charged extra.

Northern Ireland is in the UK, so you pay the same rate as you normally would.

Be careful if you're texting FROM Northern Ireland, though. If you're near the border with the Republic of Ireland, your phone can sometimes lock onto a mast south of the border, and you get charged more for this.
