  1. 10 k most of the time

  2. I wanted to and its anywhere from 10,000 bucks -20,000  bucks

  3. Adopting can be done in different ways in some states.  My siser has adopted 4 children through the Department of Children and Families in CT.  These are children that have been taken away from their mothers and put into state custody.  There are many reasons that children are taken away from their mothers, some mothers can't take care of their children, some are drug addicted at birth, some are just not wanted, and many other reasons.  These children are just that children and need homes too.  Sometimes you take a risk that the child could be given back to the mother or a family member.  You have to become a reigistered foster family first and the child would be a foster child until the state gets all the paperwork done, and the parents rights are terminated but it is worth it.  These are kids that are really need forever homes.  Why pay to adopt a child when you can get a child that really needs a home without paying with anything but love.

You can get an infant or a child of a different age.  My sister's children came at all different ages.  The first at 5 days drug addicted, the second at 6 weeks her mother was mentally ill and did not want her, the first third came at 3 days and was the first ones biological sibling she was not drug addicted and at 18 months went back to her parents(they still see her sometimes), the third came at 16 months from an aunt that could not care for him(his mother had no rights), the fourth came at 8 months from a nonadoptive foster home because his mothers rights were going to be terminated, therefore he could be placed in an adoptive home.

You can have these kids in your home from infancy and usually adopt them within a year or two.

My sisters kids are great kids and they don't have any more problems than my birth children do.

This is a great way to grow your family.

    Good Luck!!

Most people don't know about adoption through their state department of children and families.  Check it out you could be a parent before you know it.

  4. 10,000 bucks

  5. That will totally depend on if it is a private or an agency adoption, or if the child is in foster care already.  Birthmom expenses can be quite costly if she isn't working, has a family to support, needs food, medication etc.  There are too many variables without knowing more.
