  1. you also need to have a skill to live here and be intent on finding work. not automaticaaly claim benefits.

    why on earth do you want to come here though.we are in the middle of a recession!!!


  2. Hi the visa giving "indefinate leave to remain"cost £750! You have to enclose every single document they request and even include some they don't request! You MUST pass the test for british citizenship too and they'll give you a certificate to say you passed it and that has to be sent up also. Good luck. Also once you get the "indefinate leave to stay" visa you must then send off for an Identity card which all foreign nationals in the uk have to have. this will cost you around £50 and you need to have it by november 2008. I wish you all luck in your attempt. Good luck, my fingers are crossed for you.

  3. To apply for British citizenship, assuming you are eligible to apply for that benefit, the fee is £655 for a single applicant, and £735 for a joint application (man and wife applying at the same time).
