Hi there,

It depends if you have a full/half scholarships or just entery in to a tennis academy the cost varies. The things in a scholarship full or half differs from school to school.

Top 20 ranked academy in U.S.A.

>free university tuition (for an 'out of state' or foreign student this would amount to approx US$4000 to $12,000).

>free clothing,shoes,shirts,shorts,socks,track suits,practise gear

>free dormitory housing (usually shared with another player)

>free meals

>free restringing

>free racquets-on limted basis

>travel to tournaments, and accommdation

>book allowance

>academic tutoring (if required) and study hall facilities

>academic advice re subject selection and timetabling assistance practise (indoor, outdoor) facilities

>general medical and sports medicine service

>sport science assistance

Note: Not all Division 1 schools offer all the above.

On a half scholarship, a player may be required to meet some tuition fees, and would receive limted amounts of clothing and equipment , no book allowance, and some allowance for meals.
