How much does it cost to buy and sell stocks on ameritrade?

how much does it cost when i buy or sell a stock using ameritrade. like commision or whatever.

It costs $9.99 per trade on TD Ameritrade.

I personally use Firstrade and would recommend you switch to them.  At $6.95 per trade, they are much cheaper than Ameritrade.  I also prefer them over Scottrade because, unlike Firstrade, Scottrade does not offer free dividend reinvestment (DRIPs).  I would also not recommend Zecco because their website is hard to use and they're customer service is simply horrible.

9.99 like the guy above stated. Try ZECCO they are free. Scottrade $7 is a better deal than Ameritade better service lower commissions. I closed my Ameritrade account a few years back. They really stank.

If you really want my advice go to Fidelity or Vanguard and buy No Transaction Fee mutual funds. You will be glad you did. If you only have a $1,000 or so to start go to Gabelli.

It usually depends on how much money you have in your trading account.  If you don't have much money.  Then your commission charges will likely be more expensive.
