How much does it cost to call out of country from Canada to the US?

How much does it cost each minute if you have no out of the country calling from Canada to the US? or vice versa (if it matters I use a cellphone and my provider is Cingular)

It depends on your cell phone carrier. Call their customer service and ask what they charge per minute.

If it's too expensive, go to any corner store and buy a phone card. You can even get one for $1, which will let you call USA for about 3 hours.

if you dial 1010710 before dialing your normal number you get 45 minutes for 99cents, the cost will appear on your regular phone bill under other carrier,you don't have to sign up for anything

i use this number daily to call Australia and it is fantastic, just make sure you don't go over the 45 minutes or you pay by the minute,if your not finished your call just hang up and call again,your 45 minutes starts again

btw this is not for a cell phone, you only get about 10 minutes on a cell with this number

For a cell phone, it would be expensive. Call your service provider and ask them!

It depends on the package you have bought from your service provider.  I had a package that gave me 200 free minutes per month to the US.  But many cell phone packages would charge a lot for calls to the US, so check with your service provider.  To make an inexpensive call from Canada to the US go to Walmart and buy one of their regular calling cards (not a cell phone calling card) and call from a pay phone or from a friend's land line.
