Depends on your specifications and items ordered, the caterer(s), the location of the party(home or rental hall) and your area(the same will cost more in metrapolitan area then a midsized town). It could rannge anywhere between few hundred to few thousands.

What do you want to give them? Sandwiches about £2 per head.  Full works with wine, who knows £250 per head for the top stuff.  Be more specific.  But best look for local caterers and ask them. We just had a top class boat naming and hot food was £7.00 per head. Wine about £5 per head.
