How much does it cost to change the colour of your classic mini?

And is it possible to change a dark blue mini into a colour like purple?

I've got my own bodyshop and i've been painting cars for over 20 years.

It depends on the condition of the car and how far you want to go with it.

Does it have any scratches/dents/rust?

Would you want the engine bay/inside boot/inside doors doing?

I would charge in the region of£1000 for a basic respray, just doing the outside of the vehicle.

If you have it sprayed a different colour without having the inside done, then it looks a bit odd when you open the doors or lift the bonnet.

yeh it can be done,but if you want the door shuts etc done as well thats alot more work than just a normal re-paint,if the body work is in good condition i would say about £1500to £2000 for a colour change.

Why don't you phone some body shops and get quotes instead of asking on here?

I was quoted £1600 for a full body spray of a saxo, and for a sort of make shift job (No interiors of doors etc) around £800.
