  1. First of all you need to have a diesel  for the platform. Then you need to go to grease car .com and find out what kit you will need .  I will tell you , at the price of gas, I'm going to do it to . I believe that it will cost about 3,500.-- But you'll save that in fuel in less than 1 yr.  and I believe that you might get a 5,000. -- tax credit for having a conversion vehicle.

  2. Changing engines (if you don't have a diesel now) is very problematic. Sure you can change out your engine, but if you live in one of the smog n**i states (CA, HI, etc) it will be pretty difficult to pass smog inspection next time around. I'm not saying you can't get alternative fuel waivers, but it's far from simple.

If you live in a state without mandatory inspections things get a lot more reasonable. I'd expect you could do the swap for under 2K with a RWD vehicle. Then again, once biodiesel becomes a real economy don't expect free fry oil anymore.

  3. i dont know my parentrs wont let me drive tell i'm 18.

    sorry

  4. i think all diesels run on it normally. Myth Busters did a episode

i found it on youtube http://youtube.com/watch?v=QEX1YFXYTdI

although i dont know how good it really is for your motor you'll have to look it up

  5. Not practical if your car runs on gasoline. Diesel engines are much heavier to stand the heat.

  6. A small fortune. You need a new engine.
