Well for one i just did it on Delta and it depends on how late you do it. If you do it 7 days before scheduled departure its about 200 dollars. One month is about 150. And anything after that is about 100 dollars. It's usually a costly method. Sorry to be the bringer of bad news.

It depends on when you bought your tickets and what the fare rules are for your tickets.  For most excursion fares purchased after April 24th you're looking at $150 plus the difference between your old and new fares.  The only way to know for sure though is to contact Continental or your travel agent.
