i recently had the same problem. turn out the new brake booster was around 150 bucks by itself then they charged about an hour and a half of labor so it was gonna be in the price range of around 220.

depending on the leak, if its just a hose, no big deal 20 bucks or so, if its something much more serious you could be seeing another bill similar to the brake booster of around 200 bucks.

do the research for the brake booster, those things arent hard to fix, go to autozone or kragens, or advance auto parts and buy the shop manual for your car and replace it yourself. youll save a bundle and learn a thing or two. and when it comes to your brake booster its not something that can be messed up severly. its pretty straight forward

do it your self call autozone and ask about price of brake booster and hose both not so hard  two bolts in the master dont brake loose the brake lines four in booster one rubber hose pull hose on power steer find hose and remove refplace and refill bleed line by turning all the way one way and back to other way a few times ... if you cant do that call any shop and ask how much to replace both call three places to get a better deal
