How much does it cost to geld a horse or shetland?

I have 4 Shetland colts all needing to be gelded.

While they have all been brought up together 2 have been moved to our other property while I train one at a time.

The boy I am training is aprx 8.1-9hh unmeasured.

I just need a rough reasonable price of someone that has had a horse gelded.

when we bought our donkey, the papers came with him from when he was gelded. it was around $250

i've looked around and i've found that the adverage is about $150 but i have seen it from $50 to $1000 this is to the extream but if oyu havethem all odne at once you might be able to get a discount

it does really depend as to where and who you get it done with these are american adverages but they prices shpouldn't variey to much as they use he same drugs etc

contact your local vet and tack stores etc as they could give prices and contact numbers :)
