How much does it cost to get a car painted ?

And what different kinds of paint are there? What do you think looks best and would look best? Im wanting to get my 94 Chevrolet Silverado ext cab painted black its already black now but its beginning to fade but i would like the darkest black you could get? Price? Opinion? Types of paint?

well at least you picked/have the cheapest color, and because it is black EVERY ding  or dent will show. type of paint for a truck acrylic urethane would be good, two stage not single. two stage means base coat (black) then clear coat. the color you can go to the auto paint store and look at the sample chips they have, even if you are not painting the vehicle yourself, they can recommend a shop for you too! Price ? at least 1200. more expensive you get polyurethane. those would be best for a truck.
