How much does it cost to get a hitch installed with a hitch mounted carrier?

Anywhere from $100 to $400 depending on the car and the kind of hitch (Class I, II or III, with or without electricals).

I think my setup is typical..   I  got my Curt Manufacturing 1.25" hitch installed on my Toyota Prius for $150 at U-Haul (parts + labor +tax).  And I'm using a $120 3-bike rack on it I got from Sports Authority.  When the weather is nice I'm always driving somewhere to find a nice new route to ride.  Photo of my pride and joy:  http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f347/a...   :-)

The hitch will cost about $125.00 to $175.00 installed.

Unless you go to a U-Haul........they'll want over $200.00!
