  1. cost me close to 13k  depends on the flight school and how fast of a learner you are

  2. What country and currency?

Is it training from scratch or adding a multi engine rating to an existing PPL?

  3. Well it all depends on the school you attand. faa.gov is best place to find a place thats faa aproved

  4. Depends.  Are you starting from zero flight time, or are you adding a multiengine rating to an existing pilot certificate?  Private or commercial?  In a typical multiengine training airplane, you're looking at about $1,500 to $2,000 to add a multiengine rating to an existing certificate if you're a fast learner.  $2,500 to $3,000 is more typical.

If you are talking about starting from the very beginning, most people don't start with twin engine airplanes.  It's possible, but much more expensive.  Start in a single engine plane and then spend the $1,500 to $3,000 to add on a multiengine rating.  The cost for the original single engine certificate varies depending on your intentions.  Single engine private pilot certificate - roughly $6,000 to $10,000 depending on the airplane used.  Commercial pilot certificate with instrument rating - typically $40,000 to $50,000 (starting at zero flight time) not including the multiengine add-on.

  5. I would say a good 25K
