  1. All depends what zones you use.

  2. The other answers are good.

It may pay you to get an Oystercard for pay as you go since the system automatically caps the cost of a days travel. It is also much more convenient

  3. it depends on what zones you want to travel in:

the more zones the more expensive it will be:

    london underground prices:

have a look at the london underground maps to see what zones you want to travel in:

you should get an oyster is possible, works out much cheaper if you end up doing a lot of travelling

but in my experience tube staff are very knowledgeable and will help you if you have any problems

  4. to chuckney: you are wrong a 1-6 is £7 off peak or £6.50 on oyster and the peak one is £13.80

  5. I know that for zones 1 - 4 it costs £5.90 but I dont know why you will be wanting to go to zone 4 or even 3 so you can get cheaper ones but you will obviously have to but the ticket in a more central station which is in the zones 1 & 2 or maybe just 1 you want

    Hope This Helps

  6. Peak = £5 - £10

    Off Peak = £2.50-£5.00

  7. What you should do is get an All Day TravelCard. It allows travel on the Tube, overground trains and buses. A card for zones 1 - 6 covers all zones.

Off Peak Adult Travelcard Zones 1-6 - 6 pounds, 70 pence.

Peak time Adult Travelcard Zones 1-6 - 13 pounds, 20 pence.

    Hope this helps.
