  1. Heathrow Express, the mainline railway train to Paddington, is £14.50 single. It is the fastest way into London, at 15 minutes journey time.

The tube fare is about £4.00 and it will take you about 40 minutes to Piccadilly Circus.

Taxis are easiest as they'll take you "door to door" but will cost £50- £60 or more. They are not necessarily any quicker than the Tube because of road congestion and badly synchonised city traffic lights.

A service bus will cost at least as much as the Tube and can take you at least an hour to get to Paddington.

If you're thinking of using a car to get into London from heathrow then you're a mug. It will be slow (see taxi time) and the Congestion Charge will whop up your costs.

  2. You can take the Piccadilly Line on London Underground's rail network from any of the Hethrow Terminals.

I would take it to Kings Cross where you can interchange to get to your destination.

A travelcard will set you back £6.40 however you can use it until 4am the next morning and you can also use it on any of the londons busses.

    Hope this helps!

  3. taxi is about £50 into London, tube around £6, car depends on engine size but will be the cost of the petrol (around a tenner) plus congestion charge and paddigton express is £14.

  4. Hewthrow? Cite?

Heathrow to Zone 1 is about £4 on the underground.

  5. The cost of any single journey on the tube is £4.00, so Heathrow to Central London would be the same.

There is  Heathrow Connect and Heathrow Express trains to Paddington, and there are also coach services from Heathrow to Central London.  However the tube will be the cheapest.

  6. depends which country you are talking about-not sure where these places are

  7. Heathrow to the city centre. Nice, you do know that the City Centre of London, means the old financial heart of the City of London (St Pauls area). The place called London is made up of many many areas and old villages that retain their name. For instance, Westminster, Piccadily, Kensington, Chelsea are the main tourist / shopping areas now, the area know as London City, is the oldest part concentrated around the city walls and is an entirley self governed area outside of the Metropolitan area.

The centre of the Metropolitan area is recognized as Trafalgar Square, but this does not have a Tube stop or Railway Station (closest is Charing Cross).

If you wanted to come into the Metropolitan area, where are you looking for? Shops? Tourist stuff? Hotel? Transport? If so you need to be more specific as for example Oxford Street / Regent Street / Bond Street / Tottenham Court Road / Charing Cross Road (which is the main shopping area) stretches over a good 10 miles in total area covered and is accesable from a number of tube stations, mainline and bus areas.

Ask a more specific question or enquire when you get here, also, time, you do know that Heathrow is quite a way out from London and will take you some time to get into the area.

  8. Writing place names like that is going to get you completely lost ! ! !

  9. Tube is the cheapest and probably the quickest.

Heathrow to City centre by taxi is very expensive.

  10. best and cheapest way is to use easy bus, every hour from heathro cost me £2 single last time i used it. book online dead easy
