  1. £64.50 return

  2. I would try Virgin Railways website, and also One railways website. Hopefully this helps

  3. use the national rail website but if you find it too expensive, try to break the journey down into different journeys, ie newcastle to x, then x to nottingham etc etc and you may find its cheaper. see moneysavingexpert.com for guidance

  4. http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

  5. If you buy the ticket on the day it will cost £65.50 for a cheap day saver, however if you are booking in advance you can book an apex ticket for as little as £20 return. The sooner you can book the ticket the cheaper the price gets. check http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ for details

  6. Good Afternoon.

This is a British Rail Public Announcement.

We apologies for the termination of the Newcastle to Nottingham service. It has been taken out of service to have it's brakes removed.

  7. book as far in advance as you can, its much much cheaper

  8. http://ojp1.nationalrail.co.uk/en/pj/fa?...

    Have a nice day

  9. train fares vary widely depending on what day of the week and what time of day you travel. have a look at www.thetrainline.com

  10. Which Newcastle?

  11. Use www.thetrainline.com. If you are going before November 10th, you might be able to get last minute virgin value tickets, otherwise, Arriva XC will charge you full whack - which is what Arriva do - the more money they get, the less investment you get, the higher the fares get, the more money they get - thats the way Arriva work :@
