How much does it cost to go to an internet cafe in India?

I will be going to India on Thursday and I need to have access to a computer. Since I don't have one at home, I will have to go to an internet Cafe in Punjab. Does anyone know how much it usually costs to access the computers in India (more better if its in punjab). Thanks in advance.

It costs around 30Rs per hour or 2Rs per minute, minimum 10Rs.

yeah ritely said. most of d internet cafes provide u a computer with an internet connection usually at a rate of 20-30rs per hour. best of lucks for ur India trip.Enjoy :)

it cost 20rs. for half and hr and for an hr its like 30rs.

Around 30 Rs an hour. The connection is very slow in some cafes though, so it might be good to ask someone if they know of the best/fastest ones. They may charge 50 Rs, but seriously, our American money goes so far in India so it doesn't really matter.

The rate will vary from city to city.  The average rate for use of computer in cyber cafe is Rs. 25 to Rs. 30 per hour.
