Then NZ$30 for the ferry trip over the Cook Strait.

I don't know but it's a fantastic trip.. You get up around kaikoura and you're right on the sea.. Amazing sights.. Then getting to picton you catch the ferry to Wellington. Definitely the best way to travel Chch Wellington.
